Patty Williams-Downs

Founder and CEO

Patty is a visionary entrepreneur and powerhouse executive with an unparalleled commitment to breaking boundaries and igniting transformative growth.

As the Founder and CEO of BreakingBounds® Enterprises, Patty leads an empire of innovation, holding the reins of two dynamic subsidiaries: BreakingBounds® Consulting and BreakingBounds Media Productions.

Through her work, BreakingBounds® develops systems and strategies that co-power with leaders and organizations to break boundaries and achieve transformative growth. Patty is also the Executive Producer and Host of the Boundary Breakers Podcast, where she amplifies the voices of leaders worldwide, inspiring audiences to shatter barriers and drive meaningful change.

Prior to founding BreakingBounds®, Patty served as the Executive Director of OneGoal Texas, where she led the bold transformation of its footprint and its service model, paving the way for statewide expansion. Under her leadership the region was on track to celebrate its 10th anniversary, a milestone achieved by only 3% of non-profits worldwide. Her career also includes leadership roles at YES Prep Public Schools and KIPP Texas. Patty began her journey as a Teach For America corps member, sparking her commitment to creating opportunities for transformation. She holds an M.A. in Educational Leadership from The George Washington University and a B.A. from Fordham University. Patty is also an ICF certified leadership coach, a graduate of Rice Business School’s CoachRice program, a certified Emotional Intelligence (EQi) assessor and holds two certificates from Wharton's School of Executive Education: Business Modeling and the Neuroscience of Business: Innovation and Strategic Decision Making.

Patty’s influence extends into mentorship and community leadership. She serves as a mentor for She Needs to Know and a Fellow of the American Leadership Forum Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter. Her accomplishments include being named to Houston Business Journal’s People on the Move and 40 Under 40. While also receiving Top 50 Women to Admire in Houston ‘23, and the Global Leader of Influence Award from the World Affairs Council. A proud Division I collegiate athlete, Patty continues to champion initiatives that inspire leaders and organizations to redefine success.
Patty enjoys spending time with her family. She’s a proud mother of three children and wife to her partner.
